Formed at a Dublin school in the late eighties, Kíla are one of Ireland's most innovative and exciting bands. Although their music is rooted in Irish tradition, traces of world music can be heard through their works. Their style could be called nua - trad music because they compose the songs and tunes themselves.

In this performance of Kíla 5 there will be a special opportunity to hear the bodhran songs and the flute tunes and all pipes accompanied by the guitar, bouzouki, mandolin, djembe and bass guitar.
